Easy Low-Carb Keto Vanilla Iced Coffee Recipe To Cool You When You’re Melting!

Simple and Easy Ketogenic Vanilla Iced Coffee Recipe

The best part of summer is sitting on the beach in the sun with an cool iced coffee in your hand and a good book.

This low-carb Keto vanilla iced coffee lets you stay in Ketosis (and hopefully progress your weight loss) and still enjoy a super refreshing summer drink on hot summer days.  Cold coffee drinks make scorching summer days sooooo much better, ammiright?

Grab a well-insulated travel mug and throw your keto iced coffee in it so you can take it to the beach with you.

Most of the ingredients listed here can be purchased at the grocery store.  I’ve also included some alternatives in case you WANT to just buy grocery store ingredients.

You don’t need fancy keto creamers and you definitely don’t want sugar-filled coffee creamers if you’re on Keto.

Can I Drink Iced Coffee on Keto?

Absolutely.  As long as you stay within your Keto guidelines, you are fine. Don’t add any sugar and if you are sweetening, always make sure you use stevia or erythritol based sweetener.

Does Iced Coffee Have Carbs?

Iced coffee can have carbs depending on the way you make it.

If there is sugar or syrup added that is made with regular sugar, that’s carbs.  Just make sure you have your basics like coffee, cream, ice, and anything else that is added should be sugar-free.

If you’re doing the ketogenic diet, you’ll want to calculate your NET carbs.  This is your total carbs minus fibre.

Low Carb Keto Iced Coffee Ingredients List

Make this simple keto drink with the following ingredients:

  • 10 ounces of cold brew black coffee (see below how to make cold brew coffee)
    • You can also use previously brewed hot coffee, left out cold, but cold brew tastes way better.
  • 2 tablespoons 35% whipping cream (you can substitute almond milk or coconut milk if you prefer)
  • A splash of Jordan’s Naturally Sweet Vanilla Skinny Mix (sugar-free syrup) to taste.
  • Ice cubes

Grab your favorite mug and pour your cold brew coffee over the ice.  Add heavy whipping cream and the Skinny Mix to taste.  Give it a quick stir.  That’s it!!

Optional: You can add MCT oil if you would like to make it even more Keto.

If you want to add a smidge of cocoa powder, just make sure you account for the extra calories, carbs, and fat.  You could make this iced coffee an entire meal replacement if you like.

Alternatively, you can use vanilla extract if you don’t want to buy an actual mix.

If you don’t know how to make cold brew, you can just take your morning leftover coffee and put it in the fridge.  Cold-brew is better tasting, but we all have those lazy days (I have leftovers from my morning coffee in my fridge right now.. I’m with you!)

You could even use instant coffee if you wanted to. I personally don’t like instant coffee AT ALL, but this is YOUR keto coffee recipe!  Do whatever you want with it!

NOTE: You can use any zero calorie sweetener you want for this, but the Jordan’s Skinny Mix Vanilla is sweetened with stevia, monk fruit, and erythritol, which is a keto favorite.
