This easy coffee breakfast smoothie is perfect for those days when you are running late for work and want to combine your morning coffee with your breakfast.

This energizing coffee breakfast smoothie is one of the best breakfast smoothie recipes I have tried.  It’s so delicious.

With only 5 minutes to spare in the morning, that’s enough time to make this delicious smoothie. 

If you drink decaf, you can substitute decaf instant coffee instead of regular. 

Is It Healthy To Have a Smoothie For Breakfast

Smoothies can be a healthy option for breakfast.  As long as you make sure you are putting healthy ingredients in it.  The following instant coffee recipe is a good healthy option.  I’ve made some suggestions for substitutions to make it more healthy.

What to Put in a Smoothie

Smoothies are a great idea for people on the go, but I’m sure you’re asking yourself “What can I put in my morning smoothie?”  Try these ingredients:

  • ¼ cup instant coffee (substitute decaf instant coffee)
  • 1 cup milk (substitute almond, cashew, or coconut milk if you can’t have milk)
  • Packet vanilla instant breakfast drink mix
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • ¼ tsp almond extract

Optional: You can make this coffee smoothie without banana as shown above or with banana for a smoother texture



Instructions For Your Instant Coffee Breakfast Smoothie

Add all ingredients, except the ice cubes, into a blender and blend until smooth consistency.

Place ice into the blender, then crush until the cubes become slushy-like.

Pour the mixture into a glass and serve immediately.

  • ¼ cup instant coffee (substitute instant coffee
  • 1 cup milk (substitute almond, cashew, or coconut milk if you can’t have milk)
  • 1 packet vanilla instant breakfast drink mix
  • ⅓ cup sugar (substitute honey, or naturally sweeten with a banana)
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • Optional: Banana for a smoother texture
